If you order at a table
When you place your first order we ask for your name and mobile number. The restaurant uses them to reach you about that order. We do not use your number to recognise you on another visit, and we do not send you marketing.
- Your number is stored scrambled (encrypted). Staff see only the last few digits unless they have been given permission to see all of it.
- Other people at your table see your name, never your number.
- Your details belong to the restaurant that took the order. No other restaurant can see them.
- Browsing a menu needs nothing from you. We do not record the camera picture when you scan a table code.
If you work at a restaurant
We keep your name, work email and what you have access to. Important changes you make are recorded with your name and the time, so the restaurant can see who did what.
How long we keep things
Orders and bills are kept for as long as the restaurant needs them for its accounts. A restaurant can ask for its data to be removed when it stops using Kaleva.
Asking about your details
Ask the restaurant you ordered from, or the restaurant you work for. They can look up, correct or remove what they hold about you.
